“Giving the public shares of AI companies” is just another trick to siphon money from the 99.99…% to the billionaires pockets, where it will vanish when those stocks inevitably collapse. Any politician in favor of this nonsense is no populist. The real populist position is to tax the shit out of the billionaires.
