I always have this little burst of pride every time someone uses the word ‘zine’ casually as an accepted part of the language. I didn’t coin the word but I certainly had a lot to do with its spread.

Another view of Lookout Point Reservoir. It’s this low deliberately, as part of court-ordered “be nice to the salmon” remedies. The dam is pretty much just for flood control at this point, though the Corps of Engineers has a cockamamie plan to build a giant salmon vacuum.

Spotted the first Snow Queen of the year yesterday.

This is actually the upstream side of the Lookout Point Dam. I’m not sure how they draw it down this far - the water level is a good twenty feet or more below the spill gates.

Letting the GoPro just take a picture once every sixty seconds while I’m hiking produces some odd results.
