The Emigrant Fire is officially out and the trail is open, but there are still a few spots where there is enough heat in the roots underground to keep the groundwater steaming.
Just back from a 24-mile hike, successfully avoiding all the Black Friday nonsense (though my inbox is full of junk). Pretty happy about that.
