As I’d hoped, the summit of Mount Pisgah was above the valley fog, and I took photos in the dawn light until my fingers started hurting too much to keep going and I had to get back to hiking to warm up.
28 degrees and foggy out there this morning. Perfect day for a hike!

On the plus side, Osprey replaced my old Duro 15 for free under their “Almighty Guarantee” after determining they couldn’t mend the hipbelt pockets.
On the minus side, the new design is disastrously worse for my use (attaching camera gear via anchor points that are no longer there) so I’m not sure what I’m going to do with the damned thing.

It was a bit tough walking the dog in below-freezing temperatures this morning, but taking the camera along made it more pleasant. If only I could train the dog to sit while I compose and focus!
